Going to look at a 275 baler tommorow and was wondering if they are a decent unit, owner says he put up around 1000 bales a year, are there any areas besides the knotter that i should be criticle of?, also about what years were these built and are parts still availible?, looking to put up 4-5000 bales this year and don't want to torcher myself with my mf-3 anymore. Excessive billhook tension can cause this; decrease tension. Or the billhook may need replacing if it’s rough, worn or bent. Is the knife arm not rubbing the billhook? Adjust or replace it. If the knife arm does not travel far enough, check lobe in cam gear and knife arm roller.
Problem: There’s a simple knot in twine over the bale but no knot in needle twine.
