I had a really good 63 Strat as my number 1 for about 15 years, the only guitar I could find as a backup in the 80s was a Levinson Blade. I couldn't find another non-vintage Fender where you could really dig in on the bridge pickup without it being painful. Levinson Blade guitar Post by GORDON » Wed Mar 27, 2013 5:07 pm I have just acquired a cracking Levinson Blade Korean made Telecaster style guitar the model is a Delta Standard. The serial number on the headstock is different to the neck plate. It has a Strat style pick up in the neck position that may not be standard. Top archtop guitar models (De Luxe, Solist: and Royal), some early lutes, and some fancier: banjo models had names. All other instruments: were identified by a model number only. In the new line of 1947, all models were given: a model number and a name. The model number: was inconsistently stamped as a prefix or suffix: to the serial number.
